What Mosticare does

The shop sells one kind of product: a physical barrier between people and biting insects. There are two builds, treated and untreated, and every listing says which one you are buying.

Bed nets and canopies

The Rondo and Cubo canopies hang over a bed, and the Materasso slides over the mattress where there is nothing overhead to hang from. The treated builds use permethrin bound into the yarn at manufacture, and untreated twins exist for a zero-chemical bedroom.

Window and door screens

Apertura window screens and Porta door screens cover the opening and leave the frame intact. The magnetic Apertura clips on without drilling and lifts off for washing, and the framed formats are cut to your measurements.

Travel and outdoor nets

The Traccia travel net folds to the size of a paperback, and the Amaca wraps a hammock from top to underside. The Domo pops open over a mattress on the floor, and the fine-mesh Volto head net covers a face in midge country.

Baby nets for cots and prams

The Bambino Dorme cot net is treated and safety-tested for infants. The Bambino Carello pram net and the Igloo Bambino carry no treatment at all, which gives parents a zero-chemical option beside the treated cot net.

Terrace and garden pavilions

The Terrazza is a freestanding mesh room for a table and chairs, and the Igloo screens a garden nap or a campsite pitch. Both are untreated, so they can sit over food and children without chemicals in the air.

Made-to-measure screens

Send the measurements of a window or a door and Mosticare builds the screen to fit, in white, anthracite or brown. A quote is valid for 7 days, and production and delivery take 7 to 14 business days.

What makes Mosticare different

Barriers, not sprays

DEET and picaridin repellents work, but they are a supplement, not a barrier: protection ends when the product wears off or you forget to reapply. A net or a screen stays where you put it and works through the night with nothing on your skin.

Treated and untreated, labelled plainly

Where a family offers both, the treated and untreated builds sit side by side and the difference is stated on the page. The untreated range, Volto, Terrazza, Igloo, the Apertura and Porta screens and the Bambino Carello, carries nothing on the mesh at all. Uncertified marketplace nets often skip both the label and the certification behind it.

Built to WHO standards, EU BPR authorised

Every treated net is built to WHO standards and EU BPR authorised (permethrin, EU-0026815-0000). The permethrin is bound into the yarn at 9 g/kg during manufacture rather than sprayed on, and the nets are designed not to be washed.

Buy once, no refills

Sprays, coils, plug-ins and cartridge repellers run out, and the cost returns every season. A Mosticare net is a one-off purchase with no consumables and no subscription, priced from €18 to €230, and it keeps its job for years rather than hours.

Made to fit European homes

The screens are cut for the window and door frames sold across the EU, so a rented flat can be protected without a single hole in the wall. The textiles are made in the EU, and the range is designed to look at home in a bedroom rather than a campsite.

The team behind Mosticare

Adrian Christiansen founded Mosticare in Tallinn in 2025 and runs it today. He sets product direction, the science standards behind the nets, and the editorial line every page passes through.

The company started from a gap in the aisle: a spray that fades and a coil that smokes are not a barrier. The answer was a physical product, treated or untreated, with the chemistry, or its absence, stated on the label.

The team is deliberately small: one founder and an AI agent desk for research, translation and keeping the catalogue current. People check the facts and stay accountable for what the shop sells and says, and AI gets no final word. How we use AI explains the split.

Ordering

Order online at mosticare.com and pay once; the shop ships across the EU and EEA.

Communication

Email contact@mosticare.com about an order or a product, and a person answers within two business days. Trade and bulk enquiries go through the quote form and get a reply within 48 hours.

Who you work with

You deal with Mosticare directly. There is no distributor or call centre between you and the team that handles the problem.

Turnaround

Orders placed before 14:00 CET ship within 48 hours, and delivery takes 3 to 5 working days across the EU. Made-to-measure screens take 7 to 14 business days, production and delivery included.

Returns and withdrawal

Every order carries the EU 14-day right of withdrawal, with refunds issued within 14 days. Made-to-measure screens are excluded, as EU consumer law allows for custom goods.
