What changed since last summer
European tiger-mosquito surveillance has updated three things in the last twelve months. The shape of the problem is now harder to dismiss.
ECDC mapping in 2026 added new confirmed populations in central European cities including Vienna, Frankfurt, and parts of southern Germany, territory that did not appear on the 2024 distribution map.
Locally-acquired dengue clusters were recorded in Alpes-Maritimes (France) and Lombardy (Italy) during the 2025 summer season. The European Commission issued a January 2026 advisory naming Paris, Vienna, Zagreb, London, and Frankfurt among cities at risk.
Surveillance data documents a ~20 km/year northward movement and the first confirmed Aedes albopictus overwintering in Hamburg, central and northern Europe is no longer a tiger-free zone.

Practical questions
Why "spring", does the season matter?
Mosquito populations build through May and peak in July-August across most of the EU. Hanging a net before the season starts is the practical move; the canopy then covers three full summers under WHO long-lasting-net specification.
Is the range complete now, or do you add SKUs in summer?
The 2026 range is in stock at the EU warehouse and shipping. The Cubo (bed), Bambino (nursery), Traccia (travel), and Domo Pop (freestanding) lines are all live; new SKUs are flagged on /solutions/products as they land.
